FREE Couch to 5K launching Monday 22nd February!

Hello and a very warm welcome to our Couch to 5 K (C25K) blog.

Monday is our official launch day and we will be tracking our progress over the next 9 weeks, from day 1 on our couch to our final run of 5 kilometres in 9 weeks time.

Please note this is not an insured event and we are not running leaders. It is a community-based group with a shared common goal to stay fit and healthy and offer motivation and support to each other, using the officially endorsed NHS Couch to 5 K app.

Ros & Lynn are delighted that so many members of CheeziFit and PacePilates have chosen to challenge themselves and will be joining us, albeit separately in individual bubbles, and we can’t wait to hear about YOUR progress.

We will be blogging our progress throughout the duration of the programme and we would love you to share your stories too. Tell us about your highs and lows, how you are feeling, the weather, the colour of the leaves etc. and share your pictures and videos. Together we will motivate and support each other with the added benefit of getting fit and healthy and enjoying plenty of fresh air in 2021 – a win win situation!!

This programme is totally flexible enabling you to fit it around your lifestyle. All you have to do is complete 3 runs/walks each week which should take approximately 30-40 minutes, however, it is not a race or a competition, work at your pace in your time – how easy is that!

Choose your own personal coach to keep you motivated and give you tips along the way; Sarah Millican is proving to be a very popular choice amongst CheeziFitters!

You can also play music whilst listening to your coach and we all know the boost a great playlist can provide to make your fitness goals easier and more enjoyable.
