Welcome to our Run 2 blog and huge congratulations to everyone who has made a start and completed their first run.
It has been inspiring hearing your stories and seeing all your pictures. So many of your comments have shared a common theme, “I never thought I would be able to do this”. Well it just goes to show what willpower, determination and a supportive team behind us can achieve so I hope you are all feeling very proud of your achievement so far.
We all set ourselves a goal when setting up the Couch to 5K app e.g. get fit and feel healthier, prepare for a race, challenge ourselves & run regularly or perhaps another reason.

Lynn chose to set herself 2 goals and explains the reasons behind her choices below;
1. To get out in the fresh air more often
Working from home full time has meant I am sitting indoors in front of a computer all day and then I haven't been able to motivate myself to go out as it is too cold or too dark however with the evenings pulling out this challenge will give me the incentive to go out at least 3 times a week
2. To challenge myself & run regularly
I have never felt the inclination to run and it’s true to say if you ever saw me running the chances are I was late for the theatre or a spider was in very close proximity! However, I have now completed 2 runs and am changing my mindset and maybe, just maybe, I can actually run (or perhaps jog is closer to the mark).
Whatever your reason for signing up, channel that feeling you get after you have completed your run and hang on to how it makes you feel (there will be more on the reasons you feel so great in the next blog).
